JAMB Releases Dates For It’s 2020 UTME/DE Registration and Examination

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced dates for the 2020 JAMB UTME/DE selling of form, registration, and examination.

This was announced by the JAMB Registrar, Prof Is-haq Oloyede at the meeting held on Monday in Abuja. Where he met with Commissioners for Education from all the 36 states.

According to Prof Is-haq Oloyede, the registration for the UTME would commence on 13th January and end on 17th February, 2020.

There of, the examination will take place between 14th March and 4th April, 2020.

He also made mention of an optional mock examination for candidates. This examination will take place on 18th February, 2020.

Candidates should start preparation early with the JAMB CBT Mobile App for android phones or JAMB CBT Software for Computer systems.

Institutions, Tutorial Centres, Business Centres or Cafes should start setting up their CBT Centres in other to become JAMB CBT Agents.

And the Training Centres can help to train students for their upcoming examaminations.

Important Information On JAMB 2020 UTME/DE Registration and Examination!

Before the commencement of JAMB UTME 2020 registration on 13th January, the board has just released information for the registration procedure.

JAMB now follows a process that you must have a National Identity Number befre you can register for JAMB UTME/DE 2020.

And also the registration by one candidate will require ONLY ONE mobile number.

JAMB 2020 UTME/DE Registration Process:

1.) After a candidate has gotten his NIN, example may be is 1234567890.

2.) Each candidate will have to create a profile code through his mobile number.

3.) Send an SMS message in this format “NIN 1234567890” to 55019.

4.) After sending the SMS, you will receive a message with your PROFILE CODE, and full name used for NIN registration.

This profile code will be used for pre-registration checking.

If you in anyway encounter error in your biodata, candidates should seek for correction from any close NIMC office.

The PROFILE CODE is what’s needed in other to purchase this 2020 UTME/DE registration e-pin.

WARNINGS:

1. You should never give your password to any person, even JAMB.

2. Do not try to register twice. This means that you can not take UTME and DE the same year. If need be, you can upgrade your UTME to DE at no cost.

3. If you encounter error during the registration process, only seek correction from JAMB Office.

4. UTME and DE registration will close on the same date, and there is no extension or whatever.
